Infographic: What makes Midas a Low-Cost Franchise Investment?

When choosing to invest in just about any business opportunity, you will need to consider all the costs associated with getting started. This can be difficult to estimate under a traditional small business format, particularly if you are handling all operations on your own. Even if you can calculate an accurate expectation of the costs of starting a small business like an auto repair shop, adjusting the estimate for unplanned expenses you’re likely to face can be difficult.

However, you can minimize these unnecessary headaches by partnering with an established automotive services franchise brand like Midas. Our business model is designed so that your initial investment goes directly toward the operations of your new franchise location(s) so that you can get started with plenty of positive momentum. We also provide options for you to choose from so that you stay within your budget for opening a Midas auto shop.

This infographic details the level of savings that you could experience by becoming a Midas franchisee rather than going it alone as a standard shop owner. The investment flexibility that comes with starting a Midas franchise has allowed many of our franchisees to better position themselves for growth and achieve the goals they had set when first deciding to invest. With all of the extra money you’ll save on Midas franchise investment costs, you’ll be able to offer better customer support to the car owners who visit your location – an experience that many Midas franchisees have benefited from time and time again.

(1) This number is an historic financial performance representation reflecting the average of franchisee net income on an annual basis for the 2020 calendar year of the top quartile of all Midas Shop outlets (in terms of total income) that operated for at least 12 consecutive months as of December 31, 2020, and who furnished financial data to us for the year that we believe to be reliable (the “2020 Top Quartile Stores”). The 2020 Top Quartile Stores include 60 outlets, of which 28 (or 47 percent) exceed the average net income of that group. The information was compiled using actual reported sales of our existing U.S. Midas Shop outlets during the year 2020 based on monthly sales reports submitted to us by Midas franchisees for the purpose of computing royalty fees and other financial data of these shops that was submitted to us. We have not independently audited or verified the accuracy of these numbers, and we do not know if these numbers have been verified or audited on behalf of the franchisees. A new franchisee’s results may differ from the represented performance. Click here to see Item 19 of the Midas 2021 FDD for further information.
