What Does the Midas Franchise Cost Look Like, and What Does It Get You?

September 9, 2022

Starting a small business takes a financial commitment, and opening a Midas franchise is no different. The good news is that because we’ve helped thousands of franchisees set up their own small businesses, we have a very good sense of what the initial Midas franchise cost looks like. In fact, our estimate of the required initial investment factors in just about everything you’ll need to get up and running and comes with outstanding training and support. Here, we’ll take a brief look at the investment components, as well as what you can look forward to as a Midas franchise owner.

The Midas Franchise Fee and Start-Up Expenses

Our estimate of the required initial investment is a comprehensive one and covers expenses like initial supplies and inventory, furnishings, tools and equipment, and more. In addition, the estimated initial investment includes the following:

  • Initial Franchise Fee
  • Grand Opening Advertising
  • Three Months’ Reserves

To see specific estimated investment numbers, please review the Investment Page on our website.  For a complete breakdown of our estimate of the required investment, request a copy of our Franchise Disclosure Document.

In the Automotive Business for Yourself, Not by Yourself

There’s a lot that the Midas franchise investment gets you, not the least of which is our highly recognized and respected brand name, as well as proprietary logos, trademarks, and other advantages. But we’re especially proud of the thorough training and support our auto service franchise offers our franchisees for the life of their businesses because it demonstrates our commitment to them — and you, when you join our brand family!

It starts with our expert site selection guidance because we know how important the right location is to a small business. We’ll help you narrow down choices by using factors like demographics, traffic patterns, available parking, competition, and more. We’ll also provide you with standard building plans and signage specifications to make sure your new franchise is welcoming and easily seen.

As part of the services provided by Midas in exchange for your payment of the initial franchise fee, you’ll enjoy pre-opening training that will bring you up to speed on the processes and procedures you’ll use to run your Midas franchise smoothly. Part of that training will take place in an operating Midas location, where you’ll be able to watch our business model in action first-hand. Once your franchise doors have opened, you can count on our ongoing support and valuable resources that include expert marketing efforts, growing vendor relationships, continuous research and development, and much more! We know the good Midas name depends on the success of our franchisees, so we work hard to assist them.

We have not independently audited or verified the accuracy of these numbers, and we do not know if these numbers have been verified or audited on behalf of the franchisees. A new franchisee’s results may differ from the represented performance. Click here to see Item 19 of the Midas 2021 FDD for further information.
